Working primarily in coloured pencil on paper, I explore ideas of formlessness and presence through the interplay of reflective surfaces and natural elements.

Familiar objects and plants form altars that are rendered with careful attention, while reflective surfaces introduce subtle distortions, creating pools for your mind to fall into.

I intend for my work to move between precision and dissolution. Edges hold and then soften. Reflections bend and fragment the objects they contain. Through this, the compositions resist a fixed point of focus, instead inviting a slower, more open mode of interaction.

The drawings are time intensive, often developing over weeks. This sustained process shapes the surface of the work and the experience of encountering it.
