An independent publishing house and journal of contemporary art and literature featuring work from an international array of visual artists and writers. In this project I was inspired by the opportunity to showcase the artists’ work in a way that felt expansive yet true to the theme. 

The journal’s cover image represents the chaos of disruption and the soft pink and red adds a sense of intimacy representing the personal, reflective nature of the artist’s work. I tore the image from an old National Geographic from the 1970’s (I collect them secondhand) before manipulating, recolouring and abstracting it digitally to create a texture that could be used throughout the pages.
